Fire in woodchip pile. While there’s at least one every summer, Saturday’s woodchip pile fire on the old Tolko site drew out fire departments from surrounding communities — Kelowna, Logan lake, Peachland, Lake Country, Williams Lake, Princeton, BX & Swan Lake, and Penticton — as well as BC Wildfire Service with 6 skimmers (picking up water from Nicola Lake) & at least 2 helicopters (picking up water on the Nicola River west of town)…
