Quilchena Avenue rail bed lands. Last year, the City of Merritt purchased nearly 3 acres of land from CP Rail, that parallel Quilchena Ave. east of Main St. The primary reason is to extend Cleasby St. and provide better north-south traffic flow on the west side of town.
