I drove into town yesterday am, and could see the smoke belching out of the chimney and filling the valley. The smell was acrid, like sitting next to a bonfire. I believe that chimney should be higher and have scrubbers, or whatever technology to capture the particulate material so harmful to humans. If it is not already, it should be a crime to pollute the air we breathe in this way. What are the regulations? Do they need to be strengthened? What does this operation plan to do about it?
