Drastic water use reduction by the City & complete sprinklering/car washing ban. The following steps have now been implemented by the City to reduce water use: • As of 1pm yesterday, the Rotary Spray Park was turned off • the City has ceased irrigation in all parks & the cemetery, including flower beds • it has also ceased street sweeping and washing roadways • as well it has ceased washing all company vehicles • and they’ve transferred the lead well pumps to pull residential drinking water from the Nicola aquifer as opposed to the Coldwater aquifer…
