Election 2019: COSN proves again it is staunch Conservative. 67% of the eligible Central-Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola electorate came out in this week’s federal election to re-elect Conservative Dan Albas again for a 3rd term. He won with 30,364 votes, ahead of Liberal Mary Ann Murphy, (15,843 votes), NDP Joan Phillip (10,772), Green Party Robert Mellalieu (4910), PPC Allan Duncan (1338), and Libertarian Jesse Regier (209). In the lead up to the election, 338canada.com gave Dan 98% odds of winning the seat — and he did with 40% of the votes, though that’s down from the 54% he got in the 2011 election…
