After a quick trip to Victoria, we were plagued by travel demons yesterday – first high winds cancelled ferries and caused hours of delay. Then the Coquihalla was closed just as we arrived at Hope. Ah well, what did we expect! Reminder to self: never leave Merritt in winter!

now, now Darch, it’s not the end of the world! As it happens, I had a very thorough look at the Schwartz Bay ferry terminal, and a trip up the Canyon, which I hadn’t done in 20 years! But we’re back for tomorrow! k
